Ramallah: In commemoration of Land Day, UCI announces a photography contest for the best photograph of Palestine’s nature and olive trees through its “TABO” initiative.

The TABO Photo Context opens the floor for all professional photographers and those who are passionate about photographing Palestine’s beautiful nature to participate and have the chance to win a valuable award from TABO. Participants can send their photos to TABO Facebook page www.fb.com/TABOPalestine

The launch of this contest comes as a way to commemorate Land Day and promote communication and social interaction between the participants in the contest to highlight the beauty of the Palestine’s nature by capturing different and various pictures by their own cameras.

It is worth mentioning that “TABO” is the first economic and social project that aims at expanding ownership of land in Palestine through issuing title deeds which protect the Palestinian land from illegal settlement expansion. TABO allows Palestinians from anywhere around the world to own a parcellized and registered piece of land in Palestine in affordable prices. Furthermore, TABO has paved roads in many of its projects and is working on the implementation of the current and future plans for lighting of internal roads and electricity networks. Recently, UCI completed paving internal roads for its TABO lands located in the Qarawa A and B master plans and the Kobar B master plan in Ramallah and in the Farkha Q master plan in Salfeet. Moreover, it constructed three model homes in Farkha and Broqeen in Salfeet and in Kufar Ein in Ramallah as an example for proper urban planning that is to be implemented in TABO lands in the near future.
